Data Encryption

At SecurusVault, all the data and user authentication information is transmitted over the Internet and stored in encrypted form. During installation, you are given a choice to have the system choose the encryption key or enter a password known only to you. We recommend that you choose your own private password option. Only the system-based encryption keys are stored on our servers, not your private password. This offers you the absolute highest level of secure online data encryption.

The private encryption keys ensure that even SecurusVault personnel cannot access your confidential and sensitive data. But remember to store that password somewhere you can retrieve it so you can continue to access your data in SecurusVault.

SecurusVault secure online data encryption uses digital certificates for clients and servers authentication and transmissions encryption with the following features:

  • 2048 bit for terminals authentication.
  • 256 bit AES encryption for data protection.
