Confidentiality

No SecurusVault’s employees, contractors or partners have any access to the personal data uploaded by SecurusVault customers. This implies that neither the company nor its employees, contractors and partners have any liability on the nature of the uploaded content. Strong encryption prevents any examination of the customers’ stored data, which makes impossible to determine the nature of such data.
Information Sharing and Disclosure

Protecting personally identifiable information about consumers is an important part of our business. We share and disclose such information only as described below.

SecurusVault sends personally identifiable information about you to other companies or people when it is necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of SecurusVault, our users, or others, which may include the exchange of information with other organizations for data security and/or risk reduction.
Information Security

Information security is critical to our business. We work to protect the security of your information during transmission by using the Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) protocol, which encrypts information you input. We store information gathered on secure computers located in a locked data center. The number of employees involved in the management of the data center that have physical access to these computers is limited. We use firewalls and other security technology to prevent our computers from being accessed by unauthorized persons. We also require that any personally identifiable consumer information sent to us by you be encrypted using SSL encryption. To learn more about SSL, go to: http://webopedia.internet.com/TERM/S/SSL.html.

It is important for you to protect against unauthorized access to your Login ID/password and to your computer. Be sure to sign off when finished using a shared computer and otherwise protect the password used to access the SecurusVault owned services.
Enforcement/Inquiries

We train our employees on the requirements of this policy, and regularly communicate to them about the proper uses, disclosure and handling of personal information. Any SecurusVault employee who violates this policy, or fails to report any violation of which they are aware, is subject to appropriate disciplinary action, which can include termination. In addition, we periodically undertake an objective self-assessment of the accuracy of this policy and our conformance with its requirements.

Individuals in the EU or US who have concerns about our use, disclosure or handling of their personal information are encouraged to contact our EU or US Safe Harbor Compliance Program Monitor by emailing privacy@securusvault.com. We will work hard to address those concerns, and, if needed we will cooperate with Data Protection Authorities in the EU and US in the unlikely event we are unable to otherwise resolve a complaint you raise concerning our compliance with this policy.
